Craft Fair

Well the craft fair is over and done with. I'm glad that we did it as a family thing and not as a need-to-make-money thing. There were over 60 vendors there and we were lucky to have a booth at the front door, which meant we saw everyone going in and out of the building. Unfortunately, the fair didn't seem very well publicized. It seemed everyone we met either were vendors or were related to a vendor. I.e. they were there to sell, not to buy. There were some really awesome things there like birdhouses, clocks made of old boots, candles, scripture covers, and more. We should have just swapped items. (Of course I didn't think of this until after the event.)
I had a good time with the fair anyhow, meeting new people and seeing the pride people take in making something from nothing but basic materials and creativity.

After the craft fair.
I'm so glad that it's all over. I've posted some of the items that didn't find a home on my esty shop: http://www.etsy.com/shop/RosyCheekBoutique. I've got tons of housework to do. The neverending pile of laundry and dishes are exhausting and discouraging. I never seem to make a dent. My two year old daughter is on the latter end of potty training, so there are still extra clothes to wash. Speaking of which, I swear she just grew 2-3 inches overnight! It seems all of her pants are suddenly too short for her. She's still too skinny to move up a size, so if anyone has any advice on how to lengthen her pants without them looking dorky or obvious please share.

Also, this is my first time using etsy. I've been getting many emails from them on advice on running one of their shops, but if any of you have any real-life and reliable tips, please share these as well.

My two year old being a model of the Razzel Dazzel skirt and her Daddy's 3-in-1 benches. (All benches have found homes, but we're willing to make more)

MIL sitting pretty at our booth.

Cousin-in-law showing off her way cute crocheted headbands and attachable flowers. And my two year old trying to sneak more candy.
