I have really neglected this blog. Good news though! Baby Randy was born Dec 31st and is a very happy and healthy baby. And with his birth came the end of my Hyperemesis. JOY!!!
You know how when you neglect things it gets even harder to get back to them? Like the stack of laundry that never seems to have an end. Eventually you've got to stop everything, suck it up, and get it done anyways. (Especially when everyone in your house is down to their last set of undies). I guess that's how I've been with keeping up with this blog. It's not a negative thing, but I have had so much regret from neglecting it for so long, that I've felt like it'll be a bigger sacrifice of time when I finally get around to it. Well, here I am. It's 12:12 A.M. Everyone except for me is asleep, and I am posting this severely overdue post.
More good news! I am going to have a small booth at a local Craft Fair, the Spring Bazaar at Hilcrest High School in Idaho Falls, ID. (It always cracked me up in my mind whenever anyone said they were from Idaho Falls, Idaho as if they were just obnoxiously repeating their selves. Is there an Idaho Falls in any other place? Ah, well!) Please stop by and give me and my family a visit. I've been working on several infant and toddler skirts and ties, especially the Razzel Dazzel Skirt. My sweetheart is also making a few 3 in 1 benches (bench, toddler desk, step stool), I'm excited to see how they all turn out, so far I've only seen a prototype, which took a terrible fit to pry it away from my toddler. I wanted to get my patterns written and printed for the R.D. skirt and for the Fat Quarter Tie, but so far I haven't had any time. So, if you are interested in these, let me know at or after the craft fair, and I'd be happy to make it up for you.
Wow, forget gold, money, or diamonds! Time is the most valuable commodity on Earth, and there truly isn't enough to go around.Everyone is dished out equal portions, but still somehow it seems like others have been given greater or lesser rations than others. And some people waste their rations of time, while others barely have enough to survive. If anyone's not using some of theirs, please could you share it with me?
Well, I'm off to bed now. Let's see how long it takes me to publish a post again, hopefully not too long. Oh! PS! All of our items will be 20% off at the craft fair only. Leave a comment to this blog and mention it at the craft fair and we'll give you an extra 5% off.
